DESCRIPTION:Tasting room event with live music and a food truck on Sunday\, July 9\, 2023 from 1:00 to 5:00. \nStewart Coley’s live music will begin at 2:00 in the tasting room. One of our crowd favorites\, Stewart will be charming the crowd with an amazing variety of songs covering genres from classic rock artist like Elton John\, The Doobie Brothers\, Eagles and more to contemporary 80’s & 90’s country from Garth Brooks to Diamond Rio and classics from Merle Haggard and others. Live music will be from 2:00 to 5:00 so come early and pick your perfect spot for the show. \nWe will be featuring a new food truck\, Ethio-Indi. This will be something new and fun to try! Their local business is based on the principles of healthy\, sustainable\, and plant-based food options. Based upon comments from their customers\, we can’t wait to try the food! Comments such as\, “I almost ate my fingers off”\, “The burger was delicious”\, and “Who knew vegan food could be so good”. Owner\, Tonga Ramseur\, serves an all plant-based menu influenced by her Indian and Ethiopian roots. Her menu includes burgers\, chill “e” dogs\, a steak and gravy platter\, fried okra and more. She  uses chickpea flour and grapeseed oil for frying and also offers gluten-free chickpea bread. For Ramseur\, who has eaten a vegan diet almost all of her life\, it’s all about showing customers that vegan food is delicious\, combating the “bad rap” she said it sometimes gets. \nOf course we will be serving up the vino and beer to make your day complete. We are currently featuring local beers from Red Oak (both Amber and Hummingbird)\, Pernicious IPA\, and Foothills Jade IPA. DESCRIPTION:Gioia dell’Amore cellars and Alma Tango (Triad) are hosting an evening of Tango dancing and wine at the vineyard. The event will be held at Gioia dell’ Amore Cellar’s beautiful event center. The winery is a short drive from Greensboro and offers picturesque scenery and great wines.  \n\n\n\nWhat to expect\n\n\n\nThis event is a social dance session and beginners are welcome. Attached is a video of the 5 basic Tango steps. The group has many beginners as well as advanced members so we can all dance together while we laugh & learn. Cost is only $10 and can be paid with cash or card at the tasting room. \n\n\n\nWe look forward to seeing you all there for some dancing and socializing! \n\n\n\nLastly\, due to ABC rules\, no outside alcohol is permitted\, but feel free to bring snacks. One of the most fascinating of all dances\, the tango is a sensual ballroom dance that originated in Buenos Aires\, Argentina in the early twentieth century. The tango dance is usually performed by a man and a woman\, expressing an element of romance in their synchronized movements. Originally\, the tango was performed only by women\, but once it spread beyond Buenos Aires\, it developed into a dance for couples. \n\n\n\nGioia dell’Amore Cellars is a 96-acre vineyard\, winery\, wedding and event venue\, and cabin rental facility. The property is nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Eddie is a home town favorite and will treat us to Americana music  and a toe tapping good time!  Americana (also known as American roots music) is an amalgam of American music formed by the confluence of the shared and varied traditions that make up the musical ethos of the United States\, specifically those sounds that are emerged from the Southern United States such as folk\, gospel\, blues\, country\, jazz\, rhythm and blues\, rock and roll\, bluegrass\, and other external influences. \nOf course\, we will be serving up vino and beer to make your day complete. We are currently featuring local beers from Red Oak (both Amber and Hummingbird)\, Pernicious IPA\, and Foothills Jade IPA as well as Truly Seltzers. We also have the classic beers as well as our selection of wines. Oh\, and let’s not forget the wine slushies! We also have charcuterie items available for purchase in the tasting room including full meat and cheese boards\, cheese and crackers\, olives\, and chocolate delights. \nNote that we do offer wine tastings during regular business hours and ask for your patience during our music events. Wine by the bottle and glass are readily available during the show. \nGioia dell’Amore Cellars at Autumn Creek Vineyards is located at 364 Means Creek Road in Mayodan\, North Carolina. He has been noticed in Nashville and we are blessed to have him performing here locally while we can still book him! \nWe have paired Jacob with authentic Puerto Rican Delights from 5-star rated Agueybana El Bravo food truck! Enjoy hearty chicken and pork dishes paired with traditional plantains and empanadillas. Food service will begin at 1:00. \nOf course all this fun will make us need to wet our whistles so check out our wines here.
