DESCRIPTION:Join us for Live Bluegrass Music by Jeff Wall\, The Big Dumb Hick\, on Saturday\, August 26th from 2:00 to 5:00. \n\n\n\nSinger-Songwriter\, Storyteller\, and occasional comedian Jeff Wall\, will be performing live music in the the Gioia dell’Amore tasting room. Hailing from the Winston-Salem/Triad region of North Carolina\, at 6’7”\, and somewhere around 350lbs\, he’s not just big\, he is damned big. Known as “The Big Dumb Hick”\, Jeff is usually found wearing Round-House bib-overalls\, if anything at all\, he is a cigar-smoking\, wise-cracking\, bad-ass acoustic guitar-slinger\, and a hilarious entertainer to boot. \n\n\n\nWe are currently looking for a food truck for this event. In the event we are not able to book a food truck\, we will be serving up our charcuterie trays and great snacks in the tasting room. Our wine and beer menu can be viewed online so you can pick your favorite libation prior to coming out on August 26th. \n\n\n\nJeff Wall – “The Big Dumb Hick”: The Bigdumbhick is Jeff Wall\, a 6’7″\, 350lb\, bib-overall wearing\, acoustic singer/songwriter/storyteller from the Piedmont Triad Region of North Carolina. With a background in Bluegrass and Honky-Tonk music\, he is endowed with a sardonic wit and a piston-like right hand. His music\, which has been described as “humor with a groove” will have an audience in tears from laughter one minute. and then he will play a deeply personal & revealing song exposing that soft\, vulnerable part that we all try to keep hidden. He’s most certainly Big\, but he’s not Dumb at all. The Hick part is open to interpretation. \n\n\n\nGioia dell’Amore Cellars is a 96-acre vineyard\, winery\, wedding venue\, and cabin rental facility nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Born out of the owners’ love of family and wine\, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars endeavors to share these passions in its romantic\, rustic country setting where it aims to “Scatter Joy!” to its community and customers.
