Halloween Party

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars will be hosting our annual Halloween Party complete with a costume contest, live music by Carolina Rust, and food service by Lip Smackers Food Truck of Madison.

What to expect

Join us for a fun Halloween party from noon to 5:00 on Saturday, October 28th. We will have a costume contest at 3:30, entry is free. Costume registration is from 1 to 2. We will give away prizes for 3rd, 2nd and 1st place. The grand prize will be a 2 night weekday stay at the vineyard.

Carolina Rust will be performing their inaugural concert at Gioia dell’Amore from 2:00 to 5:00. Enjoy their southern rock with a country swing style in the tasting room. There is no cover charge.

Lip Smackers Food Truck will be serving up delicious eats from noon until 5:00pm. Rumor has it that there will be some Halloween themed noshes as well!

We will be serving up our wine and beer menu from behind the bar. Look for some Halloween themed wine slushies as well!

Gioia dell’Amore Cellars is a 96-acre vineyard, winery, wedding venue, and cabin rental facility nestled in the rolling hills of Rockingham County among the vines of Autumn Creek Vineyards. Born out of the owners’ love of family and wine, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars endeavors to share these passions in its romantic, rustic country setting where it aims to “Scatter Joy!” to its community and customers.

We know there has been a learning curve with the pronunciation of our Italian name, Gioia dell’Amore Cellars. The name is The Joy of Love in Italian, and so many of you have worked to get that first word down (pronounced “Joy-A”). Of course we always say, just call us the Amore winery and we are great with that! We also LOVE the Autumn Creek name and the vineyard property will always carry this name. We only augmented the name because of our story and the fact that Laura’s late sister was involved in creating the name, and the logo.
